Education: The Most Powerful Weapon

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

-Nelson Mandela

Back then, my class teacher would refer to this quote literally every day so it stuck with me, many times we would even recite it alongside her.

But growing up, I realized that as powerful as education is, not everyone has access to it and if we changed the world, it wouldn’t be one person to do so. In times like this, I’m very grateful for the likes of Dolly Children Foundation and other Non-profit organizations interested in sponsoring children and people with little or no access to paid education.

Nelson Mandela rightly said that ‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.’ If you want to grow and be successful, you need to be educated! Society is made of up different kinds of people and the mindset of each of them differs a lot.

An educated one can guide to the right path in a better manner, and he/she can come up with a variety of ideas which may be related to political participation, social equality or environmental sustainability. The Dolly children aren’t stopping at one child, our goal is for us to reach the unreached till no one is left.
