Our Founder
Adedolapo Osuntuyi
Executive Director
Adedolapo Osuntuyi is the founder of the Dolly Children Foundation. She is a social reformer with an interest in education reforms, policymaking, and community and national development.
Her deep passion for empowering children was borne out of the personal childhood challenges her dad faced due to a lack of access to quality education. For over 14 years, Adedolapo has been working closely with government agencies and public & private schools in addressing and bridging the existing inequality gaps in education.
Adedolapo is a graduate of Botany from Lagos State University. She holds a Master’s Degree in Child Health & Social Care from the prestigious University of Central Lancashire, Preston, United Kingdom. In 2015, Adedolapo received an Africa – America Institute Scholarship to study Social Sector Management Course at the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan – Atlantic University, Nigeria.
Currently, Adedolapo is running a Postgraduate Course in Education at the National Teachers’ Institute.
Dolapo is also a fellow of the Young African Leaders Initiative, West Africa Regional Centre, a US Government Initiative and one of the best three awardees of her cohort in the Women in Management, Business and Public service (WIMBIZ) Mentorship programme. In addition, she serves as director of some organizations.
In 2021, Dolapo was recognized as one of the 50 African Women in Development. She has been featured on several platforms and news periodicals and has received several awards and nominations, including a community service award from the Enugu State Government.
Dolapo believes that every child is a star and has chosen to play her part in ensuring that no child is left behind because of race, class and ethnicity.
Our Board
Iretioluwa Olutayo
Iretioluwa Olutayo is a British-born Nigerian. She is a legal practitioner and an entrepreneur running a Horticultural & Garden enterprise.
Ireti is passionate about children and this is what influences her work with Dolly Children Foundation where she serves as Board Chairman. In addition to this, she volunteers with organizations driving inclusion and development for children.
Ireti is happily married with three children.
Gbemisola Ogunrinde
Gbemisola Ogunrinde, an experienced psychotherapist, is the founder of The Family Place, a mental and behavioural health services provider committed to fostering wellness and wholeness in all individuals. With a particular interest in family development, Gbemi conducts marriage and family therapy for couples and play therapy for children/adolescents.
Gbemi is the author of “Keeping it Together in a Crazy and Uncertain World,” a self-help book for building resilience and developing positive mental health.
She holds a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Psychology from Covenant University, Ogun State, Nigeria, and a master’s degree (MA) in Family Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene, Texas. She is a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, and she also serves on the board of the Dolly Children Foundation.
She believes in a new Nigeria and has chosen to play her part by impacting the home front. According to her, the family, the most fundamental unit of society, is its greatest agent of change!
Ifedayo Osuntuyi
Ifedayo Osuntuyi, aka Ifethebaker, is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State.
With over 15 years of retail and clinical experience in the hospital setting, he has gathered a wealth of knowledge and risen to the management team as the Head of Pharmacy at Reddington Lekki Hospital.
He also runs a confectionery company, Ife the Baker Confectionery, producing baked goods that meet international standards for special dietary needs.
Ifedayo is also a conference speaker on human nutrition, the role of medicine in your health, and achieving optimal health through what you eat.
Ife volunteers in his church in the areas of youth development. He is a lover of nature. He is happily married and blessed with two beautiful children.
