The Leader in Me
“How can I contribute to the development of society?” is a question some children ask their caregivers from an early age. From their formative years, many children express curiosity about life, asking profound questions to their parents or guardians. Unfortunately, these questions are often dismissed as trivial, which can slowly dampen a child’s natural curiosity and eagerness to learn.
Yet, every individual is born with leadership potential. The key to unlocking this potential is simply a matter of timing and nurturing. Children possess innate abilities that when activated and nurtured, can lead to solutions for societal challenges.
At Dolly Children Foundation (DCF), we believe that every child is a leader. DCF has developed a mentoring program designed to answer the important questions children ask and to bring out the leader within them. The program encourages children to share the challenges they face and work together to find solutions. This is part of DCF’s holistic approach to education.
We believe that educating children should not be confined to the classroom. Instead, it should include programs that foster their personal development and self-awareness, helping them grow into the leaders they are meant to be.
