The Leader in Me

“How can I contribute to the development of society?” is a question some children ask their caregivers from an early age. Also, some children ask their guardians/parents questions about life from their infant years. But, many adults discard these questions as unserious, which slowly discourages such a child’s curiosity and keenness.

However, everyone is born to be a leader. For actualization, it is only a matter of “when”. Children have innate potentials that, if activated and harnessed, can birth solutions to society’s problems.

At Dolly Children Foundation (DCF), every child matters, and every child is a leader. DCF has developed a mentoring program designed to answer children’s questions and bring out the leader in them. The program structure allows the children to share their challenges and work together to find possible solutions.

This is part of the DCF’s holistic approach to education. Educating children shouldn’t be limited to the classroom but should also involve programs that help them achieve individual development and awareness.
